    Store migration

Every product, variant and photo on the new platform, in better order

We move the catalogue with variants, photos, attributes, prices and stock. We merge duplicates and arrange categories so shoppers find products faster.

From inventory to a catalogue on the new platform

We check every stage with numbers, not by eye.

    1. 1InventoryWe count products, variants, photos, attributes and categories, so we know exactly what has to arrive on the new platform.
    2. 2Clean-upWe merge duplicates, standardise attribute names and units, and arrange the category tree around filters.
    3. 3Trial migrationWe move the catalogue to a copy of the new store and compare the counts, plus random products field by field.
    4. 4Final migrationRight before switch-over we carry across the last few days of changes: new products, prices and stock.

When a catalogue needs more than a CSV export

    Thousands of variants

Sizes, colours and bundles that a plain export file splits up or loses.

    The same product several times

One product exists under different names because different people added it over the years.

    Attributes buried in descriptions

Material, dimensions and weight sit in the description text instead of fields you can filter by.

    Categories grew without a plan

The category tree has several levels, empty branches and products filed in random places.

Where we move catalogues from and to

Each platform stores variants and attributes differently. We map them for the specific pair: source and target platform.

    Shopify

Variants have a limit on options per product. Large combinations are split into linked products or metafields.

    WooCommerce

Variable products and global attributes move with their variants and variant-specific photos intact.

    PrestaShop

Combinations, features and related products move together with default categories.

    Shopware

Variants, properties and multiple sales channels, including separate prices per channel.

    IdoSell

Products, parameters and variant groups, in both directions. Scope depends on the admin's export and import.

    Shoper

Products, options and categories, in both directions, within what the API and admin import allow.

How we check nothing went missing

We compare counts between the old and new store and check random products field by field.

    1. 1Products and variants
    2. 2Photos attached to variants
    3. 3Duplicates merged
    4. 4Products without a category

You get the comparison report before the store switches over.

    Common questions

    Will photos lose quality?

No. We move the original files and the new platform generates smaller versions itself.

What about products we sell during the migration?

The store keeps selling as normal. Right before switch-over we carry across the latest changes, including prices and stock.

Who decides on the new categories?

You do. We propose a category tree and you approve it before the migration.

    Do you remove duplicates automatically?

No. We show a list of likely duplicates and your team decides what to merge.
